The Vision of the Sarah Smith Media Center is to create a student centered environment where multiple activities can take place at the same time: quiet reading, discussion groups, storyhours, research groups, checking in/out books, and using technology.  (presently we have 11 computers with T-1 connections)

The media center uses the open access policy where students are able to come to the media center at anytime during the day in small research groups, as an entire class or individually.

The media center works collaboratively with each grade level to insure the best possible program for our students.
